- Ramon van Handel will stay the whole week with family (wife and one year old son, who are both registered as Randall Paige and Van handel Benjamin): “I am coming with my wife and infant son (1 yr old). I would not mind staying at the institute or in the town of Cargese. I will however require a crib for my son to sleep in as we cannot travel with it. Please advise–I could not find information on this on the IESC website. I will also have a rental car and will therefore need a parking spot.”
Old stuff
30 people, including 10 PhD student (who can share a room for two). Among the 30, reserve 10 for PhD (5 shared rooms). Our money should be used in priority for PhD students.
IESC (2017-07-03): we will have 25 rooms, half of them in the village, and five of them for two students. 20 x 1 + 5 x 2 = 30.
we have planed 30 participants (including the organizers). Here are the rates of the IESC (conference facility in Cargèse) per person. It is a forfeit for participants attending an event lasting six nights and including 5 meals (arrival Sunday evening and departure on Saturday morning):
- Shared room : 252,20 Euros
- Single room : 312.20 Euros
- Accompanying persons / day : 22 Euros
In principle I have secured at least 5000 Euros on my grant.
