From July 9 to 24 1999, I attended as a doctoral student the \u00c9cole d'\u00e9t\u00e9 de calcul des probabilit\u00e9s de Saint-Flour XXIX.<\/strong> The\u00a0 courses<\/a> were given by Erwin Bolthausen<\/strong><\/a> (Large deviations and interacting random walks), Edwin Perkins<\/strong><\/a> (Dawson-Watanabe superprocesses and measure-valued diffusions), and Aad van der Vaart<\/strong><\/a> (Semiparametric statistics).
